Contraire Art. I’ve thrown some pretty big names around...like Monet, Aristotle. And made some pretty big claims: the second change ever in the basic elements of art, revolutionary, strong, peculiar. 

I did a lot of research on this. I went through at least six feet of books. I consulted with a lot of people. Contraire is definitely a new way of painting.   

One of the strangest things I discovered along the way is how little is known about color and color perception. Some animals even see colors we can’t see. What are those anyway?    

And somewhere in the middle of all this I took off to write the book "The River Road." , the story behind Contraire.     

And last, but not least, I learned about Giclee prints and websites so I could visit with you today.
